Competitive Transformer Optimization
At the core of ESVG is an original optimization engine. Its Arbiter compares candidate transformations and keeps the result that reduces file size, with the aim of preserving the appearance of the artwork.
Different transformations compete to improve the SVG. The engine selects the more efficient result and continues optimizing from there.
The desktop app and Rust optimizer are open source. Explore the code, report an issue, or follow their development.
